Breaking News: Eagles Attempting To Acquire Starting Tight End

19 08 2009

Sal Paolantonio reported today on ESPN 950 with Mike Missanelli that he knows for a fact that the Philadelphia Eagles are talking to numerous teams in an attempt to acquire a starting caliber tight end. Paolontiono specifically mentions Denver’s Tony Scheffler and Houston’s Owen Daniels as potional targets. Sal Pal suggests that the Eagles must be shopping Sheldon Brown in these talks. Earlier in the day, I had suggested trading Kevin Kolb for Scheffler and a 4th rounder. More to come, we’ll keep you posted.
